Friday Harbor High School boys basketball team’s offense surged in the fourth quarter for a 55-41 victory over Crosspoint Point High School Thursday, Feb. 15. The Wolverines outscored the Warriors 23-7 in the final period and secured the Class 2B 2018 Bi-District Basketball Tournament title with the win at Sedro-Woolley High School.

Friday Harbor overpowered Seattle Lutheran 33-13 in a Class 2B Bi-District semifinal Wednesday, Feb. 14 and clinched a trip to the state regional tournament. The Wolverines (11-10) next play for the Bi-District title against La Conner (18-3) at 5:45 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16 at Sedro-Woolley High School.

Friday Harbor (12-8) will host La Conner (10-11) at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13 in the first round of Class 2B Bi-District Tournament. The Braves advanced to contest against the top-seeded Wolverines by edging Seattle Lutheran 48-46 in a loser-out play-in game Saturday, Feb. 10. Friday Harbor — the Northwest 2B/1B League champion — won both conference games against third-place La Conner this season.

Friday Harbor Athletic Director Rod Turnbull says the Wolverine boys basketball team will play its first game of post season competition at 5 p.m. Tuesday, February 13 at home in Turnbull gym at Friday Harbor High School. They will play the winner of the February 10 Seattle Lutheran/La Conner game. BRACKET
Friday Harbor High School girls basketball team wrapped up its regular season on Groundhog's Day with a 50-15 win at home over Concrete. The Wolverines move on as their District's #2 seed to the 2018 District 1/2 2B Girls Basketball Tournament Saturday, February 10 - Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Sedro Woolley High School. The top three finishers go on to Regional playoffs. BRACKET.
Friday Harbor Wolverines girls basketball team finished up their regular season with a 6-4 record in their conference and 10-10 overall. They move on to Bi-District playoffs as their District's #2 seed (BRACKET) February 10-14 in Sedro-Woolley. The top three teams from Bi-Districts go on to play in 2018 WIAA 2B Boys Regional Playoffs and State Basketball Tournament (BRACKET) February in Spokane Arena February 23-March 3.
